Our Professor Leif posted a message on elearn about an assignment for the Toronto Police. The message said we are creating an poster to show the different races and genres of the people who work for the Toronto Police with the slogan One Career Many Opportunities. The next day in his class I asked one of my classmate Cat for her feedback about my idea with the two faces her feedback was to add different colours to the faces for it show the different races. Then professor Leif told the class we have to add a real thing to our design for the poster. that gave me an idea to use a rip piece of paper to show the different races. I asked Leif about my idea and he said it’s a great idea . The next day I created thumbnails for the poster with using photoshop then I draw the two different faces on a piece of paper and rip it up to see how it look like was not really a fan because it didn’t really show the different races the best. So I redraw it with only using the outline of the face and scan it in my computer after that I went to google and look up different races to help with tracing the face. I download the pictures on my computer and put them into photoshop with using the pen tool I cropped them up to be the same size of the rip paper. But when i was painting with the Brush tool it didn’t really turn out the best because i didn’t really took my time on it . The size of the artwork was too big for the Toronto Police Services poster because Toronto police are going to put it on their instagram so I lost some marks on my colour comp . Couple weeks after that my drawing tablet started to stop working so I emailed Leif about it and he told me that I had to use a piece of paper and art supplies to finish the assignment so I did by using pencils , pencil crayons, ink markers and paint with my lighting table and my file from photoshop.
